Information we collect
You may use basic features without creating an account. If you sign in with Google or ChatGPT, we receive the account information needed to identify you, such as your name, email address, profile image, and provider account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
We store content you intentionally create or save, including study topics, Scripture references, observations, group preferences, research selections, leader guides, participant handouts, and related study history. Device-only drafts and preferences may be stored in your browser.
How we use information
We use this information to provide sign-in, save and synchronize your work, generate requested study material, operate and protect the service, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Artificial intelligence and service providers
Passage references, topics, observations, and other inputs needed to fulfill a request may be processed by OpenAI and the infrastructure providers that operate these tools. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver the requested service. Avoid entering confidential pastoral, counseling, medical, or financial information into study fields.
Google Drive and Google Docs
Google sign-in and Google Docs export are optional. When you choose Google Docs export, the app requests the Google Drive file permission needed to create and manage only files created by, or explicitly used with, the app. The app does not request permission to browse all files in your Drive. Google access tokens remain short-lived and are kept in browser memory rather than stored with your study account.
A newly created Google Doc is private. If you choose “Share Google Doc,” the app asks for confirmation before changing it to viewable by anyone with the link. You can change or remove that access later in Google Docs. You can also revoke the app's Google access from your Google Account permissions page.
When information is shared
We share information only with service providers needed to operate the tools, when you direct us to share a document or study, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users and the service. Third-party links and resources are governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention and your choices
Saved studies and profiles remain available until you delete them or ask us to delete your account data. You may use the tools without signing in, delete individual saved items inside the app, revoke Google access, or request account deletion by contacting us. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, legal, or operational purposes.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. These tools are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the tools change. The effective date at the top will be revised when material changes are made. Questions, privacy requests, and deletion requests may be sent to hankgarner@gmail.com.
